About the Founders

jeff-eusebioJeff Eusebio – CEO/Co-Founder

Jeff came up with the idea for FamilyMint after being frustrated with the existing offerings in the marketplace that would allow him and his wife to help their 5 children manage their own money and automate away things like allowance and interest payments.  After spending 17 years in Information Technology for Fortune 500 companies, he knew that online technology was ready and the time was right to solve this ongoing frustration for parents in a fun, easy way that kids love.  Jeff’s enthusiasm comes from the opportunity to help children become skilled at managing the money they already have, as well as make parents lives easier.  “We’ve heard over and over how young adults enter the world of fiscal responsibility without the skills to succeed.  FamilyMint is a natural, easy way to get kids ready for this future.”  Prior to FamilyMint, Jeff worked first for Procter & Gamble, and then for Dow Chemical as an IT architect.  Jeff holds an MBA from the University of Cincinnati and a BS in Engineering from the University of Michigan.

bob-mastersonBob Masterson – President/Co-Founder

When Bob heard the idea for FamilyMint, his first thought was: “What a no brainer.”  With financial markets failing all over the world, it seemed like a ripe opportunity to provide kids with an effective tool to teach sound money management skills earlier in life as opposed to later.  As a father of 8 children, this hit home for Bob and his wife more than most.  Whether it is a product or a process, at home or at work, Bob is always trying to improve upon something.  With more than 18 years of strategic product and process development experience within the automotive, aerospace and consumer product industries, Bob brings to FamilyMint a comprehensive understanding of product development.   Bob’s experience ranges from Fortune 500 companies, including Chrysler and Boeing to start-ups, including one of his own.   Bob holds an MBA from Lawrence Technological University, where he graduated first in his class, and a BS in Industrial Design from Arizona State University.
