Intuitive & simple interfaces for parents, young kids, and advanced kids
FamilyMint is great for kids between 6-16. There is a Junior interface for younger children and an Advanced interfaced for older kids. We're busy parents and we've made it very simple for parents too!
Transactions
Kids can make deposits, withdrawals and transfers between accounts
Children will see where all their money came from and where it's going, and move money between things they are saving for. All this is visible to parents at all times as well.
Goals
Children can create unlimited accounts/goals
There is no limit to the number of accounts or goals that children can create, and FamilyMint does not limit the type of goals that can be created. Goals could include college, long term savings, charity, electronics, gifts, upcoming vacations, or anything else!
Locking
Parents can lock accounts to prevent withdrawal and transfer of funds
If there are certain goals, like long term savings or college, that should be set aside and remain untouched, they can be locked so that deposits can be made, but no money can be withdrawn.
Matching
Parents can set up automatic matching deposits for select goals
Motivate your child to save toward the goals that you think are important. Match them dollar for dollar for saving for college. Match them 50 cents for each dollar deposited toward a new bike. It's up to you as the parent and it's a great motivator for your kids.
Approvals
Parents can approve or deny transactions
Children manage their own money, and they learn by doing it. However, parents have the ultimate oversight and can approve or deny each transactions that their children make.
Allowance
Parents can create automatic allowance payments
If you provide allowance for your kids, you can set it up once in FamilyMint, and forget about it! Your kids' allowance will be automatically deposited on the frequency you determine. Parents and kids enjoy all of the benefits of giving allowance with none of the pain.
Interest
Parents can create automatic interest payments
One more way to motivate your kids to save money is to give them interest on the money they're tracking in their accounts. You act as your kids bank, so are free to set any interest rate you want. Your kids' interest payments will be automatically deposited on the frequency you determine.
Savings Plan
Automatically split a deposit into multiple accounts
FamilyMint will automatically split a deposit into multiple accounts for you according to the percentages you predetermine (e.g. 10% to charity). If you've ever heard of the envelope system, you know how this works. Allowance and interest can be deposited via the Savings Plan too!
Personalization
Custom images for profiles and goals
Children or parents can personalize their bank by selecting a standard image or uploading images for each of their children and each of the goals they are saving for.
Multiple Users
Unlimited children and bankers
The cost is the same for small or large families. Also, if parents want to split the responsibility of acting as the banker, additional parents/bankers can be added.
History
Historical transactions kept for
Free users will be able to access their historical data for a maximum of 1 year. Total balances will be carried forward and will remain accurate. There is no limit to the duration of historical data for Premium users.

You have 14 days to evaluate FamilyMint free of charge. If you do not provide credit card information before the evaluation period expires, your account will be automatically downgraded to the free version. We'll email you in seven days, and again two days before the trial ends to remind you. Otherwise, you'll pay an annual fee for the service as long as your account is open. You can downgrade, or cancel any time.
